I've never been to the Chelsea Flower Show before - always wanted to go but never quite made it there. This year my friend Lizzy Chambers asked me if I could help her for a day as she had been given an 'artisan studio' to inhabit for the week to showcase her lovely brand at the show! What a treat for me - amazing to be able to help and also brilliant to get to spend the day in such a beautiful environment.
Lizzy makes and sells gorgeous necklaces, earrings and bracelets which have little globes filled with dried flower petals and nostalgic ephemera - most of the flowers are grown in her own garden or have been sourced from UK farms she deals with. I had such a fun day - wonderful to support my designer maker friends and an amazing opportunity to have a little bit of time to wander for a while myself amongst the show gardens and botanical beauties around the site.
