So this Saturday was a very happy one. Reunited with my best wandering around and exploring with no real goal in mind in many cities around the world friend Sarah who had come down to London to visit.
Starting on Bermondsey street - home of the wonderful fashion museum and quirky stores abounding, swiftly followed by exploring maltby street - a new foodie market place with character a plenty (& a lot more space to breathe than relatively close by borough market.) Managed to squeeze a visit into the reclaimed homeware emporium lassco before it was time to leave south east London. A mad hatter themed afternoon tea at the Sanderson beckoned. Deliciousness and eccentricity all mixed together on the most fabulous china. And as if a day couldn't get any better - an early evening cinema trip to see Argo. Happy me.
