Mia is not one to be left out despite the 2 year age difference between her and her big sister. As my big girl is heading to school in September there is lots of talk of school bags, pencils, uniform etc and so Mia has been asking if she can have a school bag too. Not wanting to disappoint  I decided I would make her a pump bag that she could take to nursery. It was lovely to hear her tell her teachers that "my mummy made me my own school bag" and show it off proudly. It didn't take long to make at all. I adapted a pattern from Fast Fabric Gifts by Sally Southern and used some gorgeous, fun fabric which I have had stashed away since we were in Truro last year (as usual loving the pattern but not quite knowing what exactly I was buying it for in the first instance!).
