Exhibition at The Corn Exchange June 28 2011, 0 Comments

This is a slightly delayed post due to going on holiday the day after this event occured. Scamp's new venture into screen printing led me to meet the lovely Emily Farncombe a Yorkshire based upholsterer. Emily specialises in restoration of antique furniture, but uniquely uses fresh fabrics and lines to create a more contemporary feel. And one of her new looks are these gorgeous mini sofas designed for little ones - I want one!! When I was working at the screen print studio Emily spotted our new designs and thought they would complement her new sofas perfectly so the collaboration began. We chose two of our designs and made them up into cushions so you now get a sneak preview of them on the back two sofas and a close up of our little Japanese lady below. Emily's work was exhibited at the Corn Exchange for one week as a result of her winning The Artsmix Emerging Enterprize Award 2010.

Emily also created this absolutley gorgeous armchair inspired by her travels to Dubai. There is no end to the combinations of colours/styles she can create so pop over to her website and request a quote.

My two little ones were in the photo shoot and had a ball.
